It was one to tell the grandkids. The day I played in a World Cup.
Okay, so it wasn’t exactly the Azteca in front of a worldwide audience of billions, but a World Cup nevertheless.
The event in question; the MAN v FAT World Tournament; celebrating a unique and ever-expanding football community with a focus on weight loss and wellbeing.
Held at the impressive Lilleshall National Sports Centre, where England used to train, the tournament comprised of 96 teams and over 1,000 players from all over the UK, and even the USA, coming together on one day in a quest to win silverware.
