IT’S not often that you hear of 29-year-old Non-League stalwarts making mega-bucks moves to one of Scotland’s top clubs.
But that’s the situation Laurent Mendy finds himself in after putting pen to paper with Heart of Midlothian.
The French midfielder shone for Robbie Savage’s Forest Green Rovers last season to attract the attention of the Edinburgh side, who were agonisingly pipped to the Scottish Premiership title by Celtic last term.
