KEVIN Hake believes ‘fine margins’ have so far denied Chatham Town a historic rise to Step 2 – but is backing his Chats to wise up ahead of the new campaign.
The Kent club have finished in the Isthmian Premier play-offs in two of the last three seasons, beaten in the final by Enfield Town in 2023-24, then edged out in last season’s semi-final by Billericay Town.
