MIKE WILLIAMSON’S South Shields bounced back from their six-goal drubbing at Hereford to hit Witton Albion for seven.
Hit-man Paul Blackett helped himself to a first-half hat-trick with fellow striker Cedwyn Scott scoring a brace, Adam Campbell completing the former Gateshead triumvirate after Khanya Leshabela’s opener.
The Mariners led in the fifth minute when Leshabela fired into the top-left corner from the edge of the box from Sean McGurk’s cutback.
