■THE Atherton Cup dream continued with a comprehensive home win to upset the odds against Prescot Cables.
Following a handful of early saves from Bulls’ stopper Tony Thompson, Ben Rydel broke the deadlock with a powerful effort from the edge of the box on the half-hour mark.
The hosts battled with resilience all game and prevented any attacking threat, and Kielen Adams put the game beyond doubt after 70 minutes with a swift counter-attack.
