BILLY GETS TO WORK

EXPERIENCED boss Billy Barr says he wants to bring the “feelgood factor” back to NPL Premier strugglers Workington.
The 56-year-old former Reds player has returned to Borough Park to succeed Darren Edmondson.
Barr rejoins the club following recent spells at Dundee and latterly Carlisle United as first-team coach.
Previously, he has held similar positions at the likes of Salford City, Wrexham, Sheffield Wednesday, Preston North End and Blackburn Rovers.
Barr said: “A little run can help bring the feel-good factor back to the football club and the area.”
