Aldershot bring in Regan Booty on loan deal

side have brought in highly rated midfielder Regan Booty on a season long loan deal from Huddersfield Town.
The 20-year-old captained Huddersfield’s Under 23 side for much of last season and for the Terriers in a pre-season friendly against Liverpool.
The midfielder, who has been on the books at Huddersfield since the age of eight, was part of the Terriers’ Under 21 team that went on to win the 2015-16 Professional Development League title.
Booty is under contract at the John Smith’s Stadium until next summer but Huddersfield have an option to extent the young midfielder’s deal by another year.
Aldershot came close to promotion from the National League last season but were knocked out in the play-offs after losing to Ebbsfleet in an extraordinary penalty shoot out.
