National League side Maidstone United have completed the signing of striker Shamir Mullings.
Manager Jay Saunders has brought in the 24 year-old on a one-year deal following the end of his contract with Forest Green Rovers.
Mullings signed for the Gloucestershire based side for an undisclosed fee in 2016 from Chelmsford City.
In 2012, Mullings started his career at Southend United where he had loan spells at Thurrock and Tilbury before signing for Bromley a year later.
After  spell at Thamesmead Town, he joined recently promoted Havant and Waterlooville and from there joined Chelmsford.
Saunders told the club’s website: “He’s someone that we’ve been speaking to for a number of weeks, he’s had a bit of league interest so we had to wait for him but we’re really delighted.
“We’ve known about him for a long time. He’s someone I think will add to us with good presence, good pace and I think if we use him in the right way we’ll score goals.”
Mullings added: “I just want to now get my head down and focus on doing well for Maidstone and myself.
“I’m big, I’m powerful, I’m strong, I’m quick so look out for me and it’ll be hard for you to miss me.”
