Chesterfield manager Martin Allen has put striker Gozie Ugwu on the transfer list after signing Tom Denton.
Ugwu, 25, signed for the Spireites in May last year after scoring 17 goals for Woking in the National League.
But injuries last season damaged his playing time and he’s struggled for form during Chesterfield’s poor start in Non-League.
Allen’s side is winless in their last seven, losing six, and haven’t scored a goal in their last five matches which prompted the experienced boss to sign target man striker Denton from Alfreton Town for an undisclosed fee.
Ugwu has now been placed on the transfer list and is available on a free.
