Wrexham appoint Graham Barrow as their new manager

have appointed Graham as their new first team manager.
Barrow initially joined the Dragons in July 2018 as assistant manager and recently signed a new deal at the club securing his services until the summer of 2021.
Since the end of his 16 year playing career as a midfielder, Barrow is noted as being vastly experienced in the football industry having managed and coached from the Premier League to level.
Notably, he spent 10 years as first team coach at Wigan Athletic where he worked in the top flight under current Belgium national team manager Roberto Martinez before being appointed assistant manager then manager in 2013 and 2016.
Since the departure of Sam Ricketts to Shrewsbury, Barrow made his intentions clear straight away that he wanted to remain at the Racecourse and help guide the club back to the Football League.
The Wrexham board saidt: “We are delighted that Graham has accepted the offer to lead at an extremely exciting time in the development of the Club.
“Graham has impressed everyone since joining us in the summer and, along with the current backroom staff, has been a massive part of a great start to the season.
“He was the outstanding candidate to build on that work and hits the ground running after several impressive displays by the team under his guidance.”
