Danny Rowe bid rejected

The frontman has enjoyed another prolific campaign in the National League this season.

National League promotion chasers AFC Fylde have revealed that they rejected a bid from “an unnamed former Premier League side” during transfer deadline day.
It is believed that the club made an offer in the region of £50,000 for the striker who has found the net 23 times this season.
The Coasters Chairman David Haythornthwaite told the club’s official website, “The bid was an insult to both Danny and the club, and was treated with the contempt it deserved,”
This rejected bid follows a further rejected offer in the summer, when a six-figure sum from Cheltenham Town was also turned down by the National League club.
AFC Fylde are currently sitting in fourth place in the table, just four points adrift of league leaders Leyton Orient.
