EASTLEIGH closed the season with a lacklustre dead rubber – but did at least give their fans something to cheer with a timely managerial appointment!
Chairman Stuart Donald announced at half-time that director of football Richard Hill will take over the manager’s hot seat for a second time next season, assisted by former Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler and first-teamers Ben Strevens and Paul Reid forming a coaching team.
On the pitch, both Eastleigh and Wrexham brought the curtain down on a disappointing season for both.
