DOUBLE SIGNING INSPIRES THE REDS

NATIONAL LEAGUE North club Alfreton Town strengthened their squad this week with the acquisition of Harry Middleton and Sam Ramsbottom.
Middleton arrives at Alfreton after leaving Port Vale at the end of last season. Prior to joining Vale, the 23-year-old spent five years with Doncaster where he was part of the squad that won promotion from League Two in 2017.
The young midfielder spent part of last season on loan at National League club FC Halifax Town.
Meanwhile, Ramsbottom has joined Alfreton after leaving last season’s National League winners Macclesfield Town.
