BLYTH SPARTANS are still looking for their first home league win of 2019 after they failed to build on a bright start.
Dan Maguire’s early opener prompted a strong and well-organised Brackley Town outfit to hit back in devastating fashion. They got a helping hand along the way, but three goals in 12 firsthalf minutes sunk a disappointing Spartans side.
There was no way back for misfiring Blyth, for whom on-loan Gateshead goalkeeper Mark Foden had a game to forget. The Scot was at fault for the first two goals, as Shane Byrne hit a brace...
