SOUTHPORT completed a league double over Guiseley, emerging the better side in a match with few key chances. Jack Sampson – who scored the winner in the reverse fixture – had the first opportunity for the Sandgrounders when he was found in the area from about six yards out, but his flicked header drifted wide.
