OXFORD recorded their first league win of 2019 with a dogged display at Hardenhuish Park. After Chippenham wasted a first-half penalty, the Hoops started the second half the sharper and on 50 minutes the home side failed to deal with Josh Ashby’s corner, Joe Oastler headed goalwards and Kabongo Tshimanga helped the ball over the line.
After Steve Caro pushed out Nick McCootie’s second minute angled shot, Will Puddy did well at the other end to deny Brandon Thomas-Asante.
