A HARD-FOUGHT stalemate was played out at the Jezzards Beveree Stadium, which eases neither team’s fear of being dragged into a relegation battle considering their poor recent form.
Chances were at a premium in the first half, with the best openings falling to Brighton loanee Stefan Ljubicic. He could only direct a header straight at Tom Lovelock after a shortcorner routine, and hooked a snap-shot wide minutes later.
