ALDERSHOT Town ended their five-match winless run with a potentially vital three points in their battle to avoid relegation.
Second-half strikes from John Goddard and Scott Rendell sealed an allimportant victory which takes the Shots to within eight points of safety. And it heaped misery also on below-par Wood, who are not yet safe either, just a further point to the good.
