LEYTON Athletic have folded after playing just one Eastern Counties game this season.
The Dagenham-based club, founded 11 years ago as Wadham Lodge, finished bottom of the Essex Senior League last season and were moved to the Eastern Counties Division One South.
But they have pulled out after failing to find a groundshare that meet FA requirements this season.
As a result, all of the team’s remaining fixtures for this season have been cancelled and the result of the only fixture they have fulfilled, against Holland, has been expunged.
