KEEPER Ben Killip saved a Sorba Thomas penalty as Hartlepool stopped high-flying Boreham Wood from taking the spoils.
Kabongo Tshimanga’s first minute goal for Wood had just been cancelled out by Pools’ Gimi Toure in the opening moments of the second half when Wood were awarded a penalty for handball.
In the corresponding fixture in November, Thomas successfully put his penalty to Killip’s right.
