CHORLEY will be kicking themselves after not taking multiple opportunities to bury the game.
The first ten minutes were fairly uneventful with the wind causing havoc. Chorley began to press, with the visitors countering but Newby unable to keep his shot down as it flew over the bar. Just a minute later, the visitors again pressed and forced a great save from Dan Atkinson as he pushed Harry Cardwell’s header wide from close range.
