PADDY Madden’s goal deep into first-half injury-time helped the Hatters to all three points against an Aldershot team who were never out of the game.
In fact the Shots bombarded the Hatters in the closing stages pushing for the pass that would enable a clear strike or force an error that never came.
The first shot on target arrived from Macauley Southam-Hales but he couldn’t sort his feet out quickly enough after Ollie Crankshaw’s pull back and Mitch Walker gathered.
