AHKEEM ROSE struck in the eighth minute of stoppage time to rescue a point for Weymouth – but Chesterfield’s big concern is for top scorer Kabongo Tshimanga, who suffered a serious injury on new boss Paul Cook’s first game back.
Cook took a watching brief from the stands with assistant Danny Webb, who has been in interim charge of the title chasers since James Rowe was suspended and subsequently departed amid misconduct allegations.
