DARREN Sarll wasted no time in endearing himself to the Woking faithful by inflicting a first home league defeat of the season on Boreham Wood in his first match in charge.
And the Cards achieved the feat with just ten men after Rohan Ince was sent off midway through the second half for a second booking.
Max Kretzchmar’s 75th-minute separated the sides in this televised encounter as Sarll’s reign – as a replacement for Alan Dowson – got off to a dream start.
