DARYL McMahon hailed his Dagenham & Redbridge side after their winless start to the season came to an end after seeing off Maidenhead United.
In-form Paul McCallum grabbed the only goal of the game, much to the relief of McMahon, who was still smarting from his side conceding a stoppage-time equaliser in very similar circumstances at Eastleigh in midweek.
“I’m delighted that we got the win and the clean sheet, which was important as well,” McMahon told The NLP.
