JOHN SHERIDAN signed off at Oldham Athletic with victory thanks to Charlie Wellens’ late goal.
It was a fitting farewell for the man with over 400 games under his belt as both player and manager with the Latics, after his departure from the dug-out was announced this week.
Sheridan stayed on for one final hurrah and a sendoff from the Boundary Park faithful.
