YOUNG gun Ben Fell says he is ready to fulfil ‘big expectations’ after making the step up to join Gateshead from Step 6 side Blyth Town.
Centre-back Fell, 20, played an integral role as Blyth landed the Northern League Division Two title last year, being named as the division’s Player of the Season.
“I’m delighted, it’s a big club and comes with big expectations,” said Fell, who made his Heed debut in a 2-0 win over North Shields in pre-season.
