Another weekend of National League action includes a titanic promotion clash between Southend United and Forest Green Rovers — as well as a midday and evening kick-off, both live exclusively on DAZN.

The Shrimpers reinforced their promotion credentials last weekend with a 3-0 win over Altrincham, sending a clear message to the top six that they’re very much in the hunt.

On Saturday, Kevin Maher’s side face Robbie Savage’s Forest Green, who slipped up against Wealdstone last weekend and will be eager to reclaim top spot.

Meanwhile, Solihull Moors host the Stones, while FC Halifax Town travel to take on title-chasing Boreham Wood.

Here’s everything you need to know to watch both games live on DAZN, plus a look ahead to the weekend’s key fixtures.

Solihull Moors vs Wealdstone

Kick off at 12:30pm GMT on Saturday, 29 November 2025

The National League action begins with a lunchtime kick-off at Damson Park.

Moors were battered 3-0 by Halifax last weekend, halting their run of three straight wins. That result means that Chris Millington’s side enter gameweek 21 in 12th position.

However, Solihull did secure a midweek victory in the National League Cup by hammering Manchester United’s under-21s 4-1 on home soil.

Wealdstone travel to the West Midlands this weekend on a stellar run of form and are unbeaten in their last five league games, having held Forest Green 1-1 last Saturday.

Carlisle United vs Tamworth

Kick off at 3pm GMT on Saturday, 29 November 2025

Promotion-chasing Carlisle United host mid-table Tamworth on Saturday afternoon.

With the National League promotion battle wide open, Mark Hughes’s side will be expected to claim all three points at Brunton Park to keep pace with league leaders Rochdale.

After defeats to York City and Rochdale in late September, Carlisle have been on an imperious run of 10 games without loss.

Last weekend, The Cumbrians snatched a late 2-1 win away to Boston United, leaving them behind The Dale on goal difference.

As for Tamworth, they were narrowly defeated 2-1 by Rochdale last Saturday, but did return to winning ways in midweek, with a 3-0 win over Blackburn Rovers under-21s.

Andy Peaks’ men sit in 11th position and are seven points off the play-off places heading into gameweek 21.

Forest Green Rovers vs Southend United

Kick off at 3pm GMT on Saturday, 29 November 2025

With the National League promotion battle wide open, this looks like the pick of the matches, with the two teams separated by three positions and seven points in the table.

Savage’s men lie in fourth position and one point off table-topping Rochdale.

The Rovers were defeated 1-0 by Nottingham Forest’s under-21s on Tuesday night in the National League Cup.

Southend, on the other hand, enter the encounter on a two-match winning streak, having demolished Altrincham at Roots Hall last Saturday.

Maher’s side did not play midweek and will be striving to keep their run of form going.

York City vs Aldershot Town

Kick off at 3pm GMT on Saturday, 29 November 2025

York City take on Aldershot Town on Saturday afternoon, with the two sides heading into the clash in starkly contrasting form.

Stuart Maynard’s side are not messing around this term as they strive to go one better and achieve promotion to League Two.

The Minstermen are on a five-match winning streak, having come from behind to snatch all three points away at Brackley Town last weekend.

It would take a brave person to bet against York, who have scored 19 goals in their last five, as the race for National League promotion heats up.

The Shots, on the other hand, are in a wretched run of form, having lost their last eight league games.

Last Saturday, John Coleman’s men suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to Woking, but did find some salvation in midweek with a 2-1 win over Fulham under-21s in the National League Cup.

Altrincham vs Scunthorpe United

Kick off at 3pm GMT on Saturday, 29 November 2025

Altrincham hosts promotion-chasing Scunthorpe United on Saturday afternoon.

Andy Butler’s side are eyeing a first win in three games after succumbing to a late 1-1 draw to lowly Braintree Town.

The Iron occupy sixth position and are now six points adrift of league leaders Rochdale.

However, a visit to 15th-placed Altrincham provides Scunthorpe with the perfect opportunity to try and close the gap.

As for The Robins, they were on an impressive run of three straight wins before being halted by Southend last weekend.

Rochdale vs Eastleigh

Kick off at 3pm GMT on Saturday, 29 November 2025

Table-topping Rochdale host mid-table Eastleigh. Dale narrowly defeated Tamworth 2-1 last weekend to maintain their position at the top of the table on goal difference, but crucially, they have two games in hand on the chasing pack.

Jim McNulty’s side have four wins from their last five in all competitions and will be expected to bag all three points at the Crown Oil Arena on Saturday.

As for The Spitfires, they are on a disappointing run of form, having only won one of their last six in all competitions.

After losing to promotion hopefuls Hartlepool United last weekend, the Hampshire outfit sit 14th in the table.

Boreham Wood vs FC Halifax Town

Kick-off at 5:30pm GMT on Saturday, 29 November 2025

The National League evening game this Saturday comes from Meadow Park as high-flying Boreham Wood host mid-table Halifax Town.

Luke Garrard’s side have been one of the early success stories of the season, sitting fifth in the table despite achieving promotion via the National League South play-offs last term.

Last weekend, The Wood returned to winning ways in emphatic style by hammering Gateshead 3-0 away from home.

In midweek, the Hertfordshire outfit edged out Leicester City’s under-21s in a 4-3 thriller in the National League Cup.

As for Halifax Town, they secured a 3-0 victory of their own, having pummeled Solihull Moors at The Shay Stadium.

However, the 12th-placed side lost to Sunderland’s under-21s on penalties in midweek after holding them to a 1-1 draw.
