JAMIE Miley’s thunderous winner for Hartlepool United made playing in the relentless rain all seem worth it.
The same could not be said for how John Askey and his Truro City players will feel this morning, after the 872-round trip ended in a 3-1 defeat for them and the 51 travelling fans from Cornwall.
Truro could easily have snatched a point after Aiden Marsh’s diving header on the hour had cancelled out Adam Campbell’s 24th minute opener.
