BANGOR LOOK TO RE-WRITE HISTORY

FOOTBALL is beginning to boom again in Bangor and the oldest city in Wales once again has a team to be proud of.
A fourth Tier-2 scalp in the quarter-finals of the JD Welsh Cup sent the latest team from the city, Bangor City 1879, through to the semi-finals – the first team from the third tier of Welsh football to reach the final four since Holywell Town in 2017.
