MILLY MAKES MATTY MOVE

SOLIHULL Moors boss Chris Millington has completed his first summer signing by landing defender Matty Carson from
Boston United. The 23-year-old joined Boston from Grimsby last summer and scored twice in 36 games for the Pilgrims.
A Burnley graduate, he signed for Reading in the summer of 2023 and played 10 times for the Royals in League One before moving to the Mariners for 2024-25.
Millington said: “We feel he’s at the perfect stage of his career to come and help us push forward with Moors.”
Meanwhile, popular goalkeeper Laurie Walker has left the club.
