Kieran Evans acted as party pooper as his late strike earned Eastleigh an unlikely point in front of a crowd of just under 11,000 at Brunton Park.
Midfielder Evans cancelled out Junior Luamba’s 50th-minute effort for the Cumbrians two minutes from time as Mark Hughes’ men were knocked off the top of the table.
As expected, the Spitfires were forced on the back foot for long spells but defended stoutly to frustrate Hughes’ men and a partisan crowd, taking advantage of reduced ticket price...
