MAGPIES fans’ chief Iris Smith queries the timing of Neal Ardley’s ‘shock’ departure – and is predicting a quick return to football for the former AFC Wimbledon boss.
“I was saddened and shocked by the news – Neal has done a very good job for us both on and off the field,” Smith, chairman of the Notts County Supporters Club, told The NLP.
“The timing feels wrong – the situation could have been reviewed at the end of the season – but we must trust the belief our owners have in Ian Burchnall.”
