Wealdstone boss Neil Gibson says National League survival was objective number one – now it’s about making sure they don’t have drama at the bottom in the future.
The Stones stayed up on the final day with a combination of beating FC Halifax Town 3-1 and Dagenham & Redbridge dropping points at Solihull Moors.
Gibson ordered his Stones to take care of their part of the bargain first – which they did by racing into a three-goal lead inside 25 minutes – and see what happened elsewhere.
