JOE MARSDEN’S strike four minutes before the interval set the 10-man Marketmen up for a victory, avenging their FA Cup defeat at Lowestoft a month ago.
That fine strike was very much against the run of play after Lowestoft had dominated for most of the first half.
The Trawlerboys should have taken the lead just 75 seconds. Jake Reed’s flick set Louis McIntosh clear but Marketmen keeper Marcus Garnham made a fine save.
