BILLERICAY gave new boss Kevin Watson his first victory with a season’s best display in a fast-paced encounter.
The home side had the ball in the net after four minutes, only to see Rowan Liburd’s effort ruled out for a foul in the build-up.
Liburd had the best early chance when his header from Darren Foxley’s cross moments later was well saved low down by Charlie Grainger. The visitors responded well as Reise Allassani shot over and Danny Mills went close when his attempt was deflected inches wide.
