Jamie Carragher joins National League North side Marine FC as advisor

Marine Football Club, based in Crosby, Liverpool, is proud to announce that Jamie Carragher will be supporting the club in an advisory capacity.

The club has enjoyed rapid progression over the last five years, including two promotions, a historic Emirates FA Cup Third Round tie against Tottenham Hotspur and an FA Trophy Semi-Final appearance.

Jamie Carragher, a Crosby resident who made 737 appearances for Liverpool FC, won the UEFA Champions League in 2005, and has since established himself as one of football’s leading analysts and commentators, will assist the board with his connections across football, business and the local community.

Marine FC is embarking on its most ambitious period to date, including plans for a new stadium and continued growth both on and off the pitch. The club is actively exploring partnerships with like-minded individuals and organisations who share Marine’s long-term vision and want to be part of its journey. The club has secured an option on land for a new stadium development, with a full planning application expected to be submitted to Sefton Council by September.

Marine FC currently competes in the National League North, the sixth tier of English football.
