THREE late Simon Ainge penalties meant Salford City threw away a two-goal lead in an incredible ending at the CNG Stadium.
The Ammies were awarded the first of four spot-kicks after 20 minutes when Town stopper Chris Elliott brought down Mike Phenix, allowing Sam Walker to convert.
Salford doubled their advantage in the 63rd minute when John Johnston produced a fine solo effort that crashed in off the bar from 30 yards.
