NUNEATON TOWN’S seven-match unbeaten run crashed to an end as FC United ran riot at the Coombe Abbey Arena.
Neither keeper was tested in the opening exchanges as the game was unspectacular. But United changed that when they found a breakthrough in the 42nd minute.
Boro were level before half time, Jordan Nicholson breaking through before beating the onrushing keeper.
That goal was a rare reason to smile for Nuneaton as they were blown away in a desperate second half.
