BLYTH BLITZ IS ENOUGH TO SEE OFF ONSLAUGHT

IN WHAT was surely the game of the day at the New Bucks Head, Blyth Spartans ran out winners by the odd goal in five but Telford almost made them pay by coming back from 3-0 down.
The Spartans took the lead on 28 minutes when a well-worked corner fell to Robbie Dale, who slotted the ball into the top corner for his first goal of the season and his first back in the National League.
They went 2-0 up two minutes later when a low cross was missed by substitute Aaron Hayden and Danny Maguire tapped home.
