Guest’s header keeps Nash up

CURZON ASHTON ensured National League North football next season, putting in a battling display to beat Spennymoor.
The Nash’s first effort came when Ben Wharton broke into Town’s box and delivered a far post cross which James Baillie scuffed and the ball went aimlessly wide.
Curzon took the lead four minutes before the interval.
Ben McKenna, who came on for the injured Ryan Brooke midway through the half, went down the right, where he was impeded but managed to stay on his feet.
