STENSON BRACE SEES BRAKES’ RUN GO ON

LEAMINGTON ended the opening week of the season unbeaten with victory in an absorbing clash with visiting Bradford Park Avenue.
A strong opening from the visitors saw Jake Beesley head just wide from a right-wing cross. Leamington came close when Matt Stenson’s header crashed off the bar, Junior English seeing his follow up blocked on the line.
Brakes hit the front three minutes before half-time.
