GOALS from Rob Ramshaw and Glen Taylor fired Spennymoor to their first win of the season. It was the visitors who struck first in a free-flowing opening half. On 18 minutes Ramshaw wriggled into space and calmly slotted under the advancing George Willis.
Arguably it was a merited lead as Town had shown plenty of attacking spirit early on with Andrew Johnson and Shane Henry both seeing efforts saved by Willis.
