ASANTE’S AT IT AGAIN BUT SAM STRIKES BACK

SAM WALKER’S equaliser earned Stockport County a share of the points with Chester, as the Hatters man’s penalty cancelled out Akwasi Asante’s close range strike. ln an entertaining start to the game, County allowed Adam Dawson too much space to stroll up the centre of the pitch. The move ended with Asante striking the inside of the post.
Asante, on loan from Tamworth and off the back of a hat-trick against Darlington last time out, looked a class act early on.
Then it was the hosts’ turn to strike the woodwork.
