PEERS IS DISMISSED IN MOORS’ COMEBACK

THREE late goals saw Spennymoor Town keep their promotion charge on track as FC United of Manchester wilted after Tom Peers was sent off in the second half.
The relegation-threatened hosts went ahead after 23 minutes when Mike Potts volleyed home past Matt Gould.
Moors created plenty of chances and were denied on several occasions by FC United keeper Lloyd Allinson, who had twice saved before the opener.
