JAMIE STOTT’S late goal gave Stockport County all three points in a close-fought local derby at FC United.
His goal, enabling the Hatters to stretch their winning run to nine games, came on his last appearance before returning to parent club Oldham Athletic.
The Red Rebels played their part, taking the lead in the tenth minute through Kurt Willoughby’s superb solo goal, the striker deftly bringing a through ball down before cutting inside Ash Palmer and curling into the top corner of Ben Hinchliffe’s net.
