TWO teams expected to feature among the promotion- chasers had a ding-dong battle.
Jordan Nicholson fired Hereford ahead in the first period but Town hit back through Andrew Johnson and Glen Taylor before substitute Tom Owen-Evans levelled for the Bulls ten minutes from time.
Hereford, with seven new player, had the first shot with Kieran Thomas blazing wide.
And Nicholson shot the Bulls ahead on 26 minutes, profiting from good work by Rowan Liburd to guide the ball in.
