Alex is the star as York stay top

YORK stay top of the table after a deserved win at Gloucester, but they made hard work of it at times.
The Minstermen looked an attacking threat from the start and were quick out of the blocks. They took the lead on seven minutes when David Ferguson got down the left and crossed for Kieran Green to flick on and Alex Kempster scored.
Gloucester should have equalised on 14 minutes when Joe Fowler had an unchallenged volley from just outside the box but he put it wide.
York continued to pressure though, with Kempster and Ferguson going close.
