PAUL COX started his reign as Kettering manager with a win, as the Poppies leapfrogged opponents Bradford Park Avenue and out of the bottom two with a comprehensive victory.
The efforts of home fans who were forking the pitch hours before the match after heavy rain were rewarded, as the hosts calmly dismantled the fragile Bradford defence with pace and well executed set-pieces.
Ben Milnes should have given Kettering the lead but both his shots were agonisingly wide on nine and 11 minutes.
But four minutes later, Lindon Meikle was there to poke home...
