IT was a perfect homecoming for Gloucester City as the Tigers went goal crazy against fellow promotion hopefuls York City in front of a crowd of over 2,000 at New Meadow Park.

IT was a perfect homecoming for Gloucester City as the Tigers went goal crazy against fellow promotion hopefuls York City in front of a crowd of over 2,000 at New Meadow Park.
Goals from Danny King, Fabien Robert, Kevin Dawson and Matt McClure saw City ease past a below-par York, who have now lost their opening two games.
The breakthrough came just on the stroke of half-time with the previously solid Akil Wright caught in possession by the high-pressing McClure, allowing King to capitalise and find the bottom corner.
